Direct debit
You can setup a direct debit by:
- completing a direct debit form
- phone 0300 100 1800 (select option six)
In person
You can pay your invoice by cash in Post offices and wherever you see the PayPoint logo (in convenience stores, newsagents, supermarkets and service stations).
You must take your bar coded invoice with you to make a payment because this is needed by these outlets.

All payments must include your invoice number.
By post
Cheques and postal orders should be made payable to 'Scottish Borders Council' and crossed "Not Negotiable - A/C Payee Only". Please write your name, address and invoice number on the back of your cheque or postal order and send it to:

Landfill tax
Where your invoice includes identified landfill tax please note that our landfill tax registration number is 01663 7265 15000. Landfill tax is not deductible input tax for VAT purposes.
