Community Benefits Gateway
The aim of the Community Benefit Gateway Portal is to connect third-sector organisations with NHS Scotland suppliers who may be able to support local projects by providing 'in-kind' assistance. It is important to note that funding is not available through this portal.
In-kind offers can include volunteering, work placement opportunities, the provision of professional advice, assistance with building community facilities, and much more.
NHS Borders' criteria for community benefits focus on supporting third-sector organisations that can demonstrate they are addressing community needs in any of the following three areas:
- Reducing health inequalities
- Contributing to anti-poverty efforts
- Improving health and wellbeing
