Funding Support – Expression of Interest Form
The EOI process is open to projects which fall into one of the following specific categories:
1. Local Action Group 'Growing the Local Economy' Fund
- Private Businesses (including Farmers), Social Enterprises, and enterprising communities.
- Funding for equipment or building improvements.
- Up to £5,000 (larger amounts up to £20,000 will be considered for exceptional ideas).
- Projects must contribute to net-zero, improve services for the public, or tackle poverty. Examples include renewable energy projects (solar panels and/or batteries), projects supporting greater services/access for people with disabilities, or projects leading to more staff or more hours for staff.
2. Project Pipeline
- If you are a large capital project that would like to be added to a major project pipeline in the event that funding becomes available, you may also submit an EOI
- Please Note: You must have completed project idea with an established budget and all appropriate permissions in place.
3. Active Travel SEStran and Transport Scotland Project Fund
- This is a flexible fund with capital and revenue funding available.
- Grants are available to support active travel and behaviour change projects with a minimum grant of £1,000 and a maximum grant of £20,000 subject to detailed criteria.

4. No One Left Behind
- Social Enterprises, Charities, Community Interest Companies, Constituted Community / Voluntary Group
- Projects must contribute to maximising the role that employability plays in delivering national and local aims of tackling poverty, promoting inclusion and social justice, and creating a fair and prosperous Scotland.
- Funding is available to projects which meet the following aims.
- Supporting those further from the labour market to increase their income from employment, by providing relevant employability support through training for employment.
- Reducing levels of child poverty by supporting parents from the priority family groups to increase their income from employment, by providing relevant employability support related to training for employment.
- Reducing levels of long-term unemployment by providing employability support to those who are at risk of being long-term unemployed.
