Map basic - user guide
The screenshot below highlights the key features of Map Basic, which are explained further below.
Legend
Select the boxes within the Legend [1] to turn the data on and off. The data selected will then be shown on the map.

Find out more about the data you've switched on by selecting the centre of any Icon [2].
3. Zoom Tool
Use the Zoom Tool [3] to zoom in and out of the map, and to pan around. The plus sign zooms in, the minus sign zooms out. And the arrows pan around the map. If you prefer, you should be able to use your scroll wheel (if your mouse has one) to zoom in and out. Roll the wheel forward one notch at a time to zoom in, roll the wheel back in the same way to zoom out.
4. Address Search
Enter your address or postcode into the Address Search [4] to zoom into the area around your home.
