- Haylodge Park, Peebles
- Information
-
A magnificent large park on banks of the River Tweed on the outskirts of the town.
The park has an abundance of trees of all ages, with many older specimens providing particular interest, and the density of trees in places giving a woodland effect.
There are large swathes of spring bulbs and areas of shrubs and summer bedding.
The ornate entrance gates lead in to a network of footpaths which provide walks around the park and along the riverside, with the abundance of seating providing opportunities to enjoy views of the river and surrounding countryside. There is a well-equipped children's play area, and rugby pitches that are available to hire. - Opening times
