Request or Question: Under the Freedom of Information Act (2000), can I please request the following information in relation to disabled children's occupational therapy (OT) services within the Council: 1) What is the current average timeframe from referral of a disabled child to the OT service and the comprehensive assessment of their needs by the OT? 2) At the time of answering this request, how many disabled children are currently waiting for an assessment?
3) At the time of answering this request, what currently is the longest waiting time from referral for an assessment for a disabled child?
Response: 1. 2-3 weeks, This is has obviously been complicated due to Covid but anyone who has an urgent need would be seen within a few days if practical.
