1 and 2. Scottish Borders Council have not issued any fines or fixed penalty notices or prosecuted individuals or businesses for fly-tipping.

4. Some of the information you have requested cannot be provided because Scottish Borders Council do not hold it and therefore we give notice under 10(4)(a) of EI(S)SR 2004. Records are not kept of specific costs dealing with fly-tipping, as the work is done as part of daily duties by staff.
