2. At the start of Covid, families were offered frozen meals or food vouchers during first lockdown throughout holiday period. Food Vouchers only were then provided for the October 20 and Christmas 20 holidays based on people being eligible for FSM under income criteria. Scottish Borders Council have since followed Scottish Governments guidance from January 2021 and have provided BACS payments to families who were eligible for FSM under income criteria for Lockdown period from January 2021 and Easter 21 holiday period.
