Are there any plans in place by SBC to enforce the 20pmh limit, introduced recently into Scottish Borders towns?
Response
Police Scotland are the agency with enforcement powers, Scottish Borders Council do not have any enforcement powers when it comes to speed limits. Therefore we are applying Regulation 10(4)(a) of EI(S)R 2004 and declaring this information is not held by SBC.Please see link below to Police Scotland’s FOI.
