Under freedom of information, I would like to request the following information:1. At your budget meeting for 2021/2022, what provision did the Council make for the Local Government pay award in cash terms? What percentage increase would this represent across your total workforce?2. Since setting your budget, has the Council earmarked further financial provision towards the Local Government pay negotiations? If yes, what was that additional provision in cash terms and what percentage increase would this represent across your total workforce?
Response
1. The approved Council budget for 2021/22 has a pay award assumption of 2% which equates to £3.214m.
