Request or Question: Does the council collect glass waste separately at kerbside?Has the councils (a) signed any commercial contracts for the collection/treatment of glass waste and (b) when do those contracts finish?How many tonnes of glass waste has the council collected and sent for treatment in each of the last three years?
Response: The Council does not collect glass at the kerbside.Currently the Council is out of contract for glass recycling from our recycling points. Going forward the council will look to carry out a call off from the Scotland Excel dynamic purchasing system for a glass collection contact.
