I am requesting the following information that I am entitled to under the Freedom of Information Act Scotland 2002.- The number of people declared homeless broken down by calendar year since 2016.

Homelessness statistics are publicly available on the Scottish Government website by using the website link provided below. From this webpage, for each financial year there is an option under 'Supporting files' that will allow you to download spreadsheets that contain Homelessness information for Scottish Borders Council as well as all Scottish Local Authorities.As the information requested is otherwise accessible via the public domain it is therefore exempt under Section 25 of Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002.
