Request or Question: I would appreciate if you could answer the following question, and that it be treated as a Freedom of Information request.1. How long has it taken from application to payment being made for self-isolation grants to be processed broken down by a) median and b) the longest times that it has taken, in each month since January 2021.
Response: I can confirm that we do hold this information however, to collate the data, we would have to manually view the information and documentation held for each application.We estimate that we would have to manually check 1218 applications and payment records at a conservative estimate of 3 minutes per case which would total 3654 minutes (61 hours which would equate to 8.5 days work). The cost of investigating this would exceed the prescribed limits therefore your request is refused under Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act Scotland 2002.We appreciate that this will be disappointing to you. We would be pleased to discuss whether your request could be changed, to bring down the cost of providing the information and allow us to respond.
