Request or Question: I would appreciate if you could answer the following question, and that this be treated as a Freedom of Information Request.1. For self-isolation grant applications which took longer than one week, what was the reason for the delay and how many applications does this apply to.
Response: I can confirm that we do hold this information however, to collate the data, we would have to manually view the information and documentation held for each application.We estimate that we would have to manually check 1218 applications and payment records at a conservative estimate of 3 minutes per case which would total 3654 minutes (61 hours which would equate to 8.5 days work). The cost of investigating this would exceed the prescribed limits therefore your request is refused under Section 12 of the Freedom of Information Act Scotland 2002.We appreciate that this will be disappointing to you. We would be pleased to discuss whether your request could be changed, to bring down the cost of providing the information and allow us to respond.
