Request or Question: I am hoping you can provide me with access to copies of records you hold relating to the below fund/s which you committed to on 13th December 2021. * Partners Group* Permira

The documents we are requesting are documents received from your consultant, including reviews or overviews of the funds along with any manager presentations received from a management company, providing information on the above funds.
Response: The documents we are requesting are documents received from your consultant, including reviews or overviews of the funds along with any manager presentations received from a management company, providing information on the above funds. Partners and Permira are both existing managers for the Funds Direct Credit allocation. The commitments made recently to these Funds was to bring the Fund up to the strategic allocation. The Fund was below the approved strategic allocation level due to the overall rise of Fund value and the maturing nature of the Funds held with both Partners and Permira.
The Funds are reviewed on a quarterly basis as part of the overall performance monitoring of the Fund. All performance reports are held within the Private sections of the meetings and are therefore withheld as per below.
The Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 allows a public authority to withhold information in response to a request, where one or more exemptions listed in FOI(S)A applies. In this case Scottish Borders Council believes the following exemption applies: S33(1)(b) Protecting Commercial Interests.
