Request or Question: I would like to request the information set out below from your organisation under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 (FOISA) and, where appropriate, the Environmental Information Regulations (Scotland) (2004) (the EIRs). For each request, I am looking for the information for the last 5 financial years, broken down by each year. I would also like for the data to be broken down by council ward. So, for example, I would like to know how many bin collections have been missed in each council ward, broken down by financial year for the last 5 years.
I am also requesting that you send me the information formatted into an excel spreadsheet. Please do not put this into PDF format. As you know, under the legislation, I am entitled to request that the information be sent to me in an accessible format.

1) Details of any changes to bin collection schedules over the last 5 financial years, broken down by financial year and ward in which the changes were taking place
Response: Scheduled collections are as follows for households in the Scottish Borders:
*General waste on a fortnightly basis
* Recycling on a fortnightly basis
* Food waste on a weekly basis (in Galashiels, Hawick, Selkirk, Tweedbank, Jedburgh and Peebles only)
These collection schedules have not changed in the last 5 years.
