Request or Question: What proportion of local authority schools have smoke alarms fitted? Of those with smoke alarms, what proportion have smoke alarms that are manually operated and not linked to the fire service?
Response: All Scottish Borders Council schools have smoke alarms and heat detectors fitted and they are all connected to the fire alarm systems in each school.
