I would like to request the following information under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002. With regards to deferred payment agreements for charges for residential care accommodation - in each of the past five financial years (2017/2018 – 2021/2022):
1. The number of agreements in place
2. The number of agreements which are expected to be terminated or from which it is expected that payment will be recovered in each financial year
3. The amount recovered as a result of agreements and the proportion this represents of the overall amount expected to be recovered in that year
4. The amount either not recovered, written off or lost and the proportion this represents of the overall amount expected to be recovered in that year
5. The success rate for recovery from agreements.
Under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act I understand that I can specify the format in which the information is provided so please provide the answers in an excel spreadsheet.
2. The Council cannot comment on the amount of Agreements it is expected will be terminated in a particular financial year. The termination of the Agreement is dependent on the property in question being sold or the Adult passing away, both of which are issues out with the Local Authority's control. Therefore we refer to S17 of FOI(S)A 2002 and declare that the information is not held.
