Request or Question: May I request the following information under freedom of information legislation: 1) The number of police officers funded (either completely or partially) by the local authority for the financial years of 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21 and so far in 2021-22.
2) The cost of police officers funded (either completely or partially) by the local authority for the financial years of 2018-19, 2019-20, 2020-21 and so far in 2021-22.
Response: 1) 2018/19 - 7 police officers (Community Action Team) and 2 Youth Community Police Officers
2019/20 – 7 police officers to December 2019, 11 police officers as at January 2020 and 13 police officers as at February 2020, 14 police officers as at March 20 (Community Action Team) and 2 Youth Community Police Officers
2020/21 - 14 police officers (Community Action Team) and 2 Youth Community Police Officers
2021/22 - 14 police officers (Community Action Team) and 2 Youth Community Police Officers
