Request or Question: Could I please ask for the period starting 1st January 2018 and ending 31st December 2019, for your local authority: a) How many requests were made to deregister a child from school to home educate?
b) How many children who were deregistered from school were on a child's plan?
c) How many children who were deregistered from school were on a child protection order?
d) How many requests for registration were completed within 6weeks of the request being made?
Response: a)         39 requests were made between January 18 – December 19
b)         39 on a child's plan
c)         No children who were deregistered from school were subject to Child Protection registration and none were subject to Child Protection Orders.
d)         8 requests were not completed within 6 weeks
