Request or Question: 1. Since the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan on 15th August 2021, how many Afghan refugees have been resettled in the Scottish Borders Council area? (This can be via the Afghanistan Citizens Resettlement Scheme, the Afghan Relocationand Assistance Policy or other official channels.)2. Of those who have arrived in the Scottish Borders Council Area to date (March 22nd 2022), how many Afghan refugees are still living in hotelaccommodation?
Response: 1. Eight in total have been resettled though two have since relocated to England. There are currently six.
