I would like to request the following information from your local authority:*The total number of planning decisions which have been made*The number that are subsequently appealed,*The number of those appeals which are initiated by a serving councillor,
* The number that have been initiated by an MSP or MP, and
* For both councillors or MSPs, a breakdown of which party the elected member represented.
I would like this information for the last 5 business years, broken down by year. I expect to receive your response by no later than 1 May 2022.

The requested information is available for the Individual to view via the Public Access portal. They should search for applications using the advanced search function by clicking on the link below.
The individual can search for all planning applications and all appeals submitted in the last 5 years by refining their search using the drop down menus and focussing on a specific date range.
The individual should be aware that there are no third party rights of appeal available to Councillors, MP’s or MSP’s. Only the applicant can appeal a planning decision. The response to Q’s 3-5 is therefore Nil.
