Request or Question: How many investigations by Social Services, following a child welfare referral were concluded during the years 2019, 2020 and 2021:1/ without any face to face contact with the child in question, and;2/ without any face to face contact with the child's parent(s).
Response: Scottish Borders Council operate a "one point" referral approach for Children, via the duty team, and all referrals follow the same initial path; these are then directed according to the nature of the referral.
Of the referrals received, the below represent the number directed to multi-agency Initial Referral Discussions
