Request or Question: Under the Freedom of Information Act, can you please let me know the following? Please don't send links to council reports – I am only after the below information. 1) What was you annual net spend on public sports and leisure facilities and pitches for the 2012/13 financial year, compared to the 2021/22 financial year please?2) How many school playing fields were there in May 2012 compared to May 2022?3) How many free-to-use public sports fields were there in May 2012 compared to May 2022?

2) In 2012 we had 3 assets listed as school playing fields – 2022 we have 1 asset listed as a school playing field.

3) I would define a public sports field as a park/open space which provides marked out sports pitches with goalposts. As such, all of our sports pitches should be booked and paid for, i.e. we didn't have any free-to-use in 2012 and don't have currently.
