Please could the council provide details of any incidents in the last three years (May 2019 to May 2022) where a decision was made to physically intervene with a pupil/pupils within a school.For each incident, please provide the following details;- date of intervention- name of school
- age of child involved (or an age range, i.e. 5-10,10-15, if data protection is an issue)
- reason for intervention
- how the intervention was made and how the child was controlled (i.e., restrained, isolated in a room, etc)

2018/2019 – 2 incidents of restraint
We have taken the decision not to release the age or the name of the school of the children where numbers are 5 or below. This is because by releasing this information could potentially identify individuals. Therefore we are relying on section 38(1)(b) of FOI(S)A 2002.
