Request or Question: I am making a Freedom of information request for any information on radiation readings/check done on reservoirs, lakes, rivers and drinking water pipes and filters.The radiation cloud from Chernobyl in 1986 past over the Scottish Borders dropping radioactive particles all over the Scottish Borders and I am trying to get a picture to what extent it had on the Scottish Borders water.
Response: Unfortunately Scottish Borders Council does not hold the information you have requested and therefore we give notice under 10(4)(a) of EI(S)R 2004. Scottish Water and SEPA may be able to assist.
