Request or Question: I am writing to you to make a request for information under the Freedom of Information Act 2002. Could you please provide the following:1- whether you use Hikvision cameras2- whether they are used specifically on school buses as part of a contract with McDades Coaches or any other company
3- how long they have been used on school buses
4- how many cameras there are currently being used
5- how much it costs to use these cameras (installation and maintenance etc)
6- whether you have a data retention policy associated with using these cameras
7- whether you are aware of concerns about Hikvision?
8- whether you have considered removing the cameras?
9- whether you have a timeline for their removal?
10- whether you have undertaken an assessment of the arrangements/agreement in line with the Scottish Government's human rights due diligence guidance
11- whether any Hikvision cameras have been installed since the House of Commons Foreign Affairs Committee report was published in July 2021 recommending that they not be used in the UK
