Response
1 EPA 1990 Section 80 notice remains extant:

-Orrock Place, Hawick, TD9. Ref 16/02575/NOICOE. Notice served 21st December 2017 in relation to noise nuisance from voices and electrically amplified music after 11pm. The timescale given to comply with the notice was to ensure inaudibility of voices/amplified music after 11pm by the 31st of March 2018. The notice remains in place while investigations are ongoing.


Notice below has been complied with.

- Havelock Street, Hawick, TD9 in relation to accumulation of refuse. 21/00162/ACCUM. Notice served 7th May 2021 and to abate by 12th May.

-Paxton Terrace, Eyemouth, TD14. 2 separate notices relating to a leaking over flow pipe and damaged waste water pipe. 21/00925/DRAINS and 21/00925/DRAINS . Notices served 11th June 2021 and 8th July 2021.

-(x4) Arthur Street, Hawick, TD9. Notice served 4/3/22 RE accumulation of putrescible refuse. Works in default on 17/3/22.

-Bridge Place, Galashiels, TD1. Notice (22/01014/ACCUM) served on 21/07/22 in relation to refuse/food waste accumulation.

-Tweedholm Avenue East, Walkerburn, EH43 Notice served (22/00834/DRAINS) on 25/10/22 in relation to foul water.

-High Street, Hawick, TD9, Notice served (5/5/23). In relation to pigeons in building. Works carried out to remove pigeons, proof building, and provide method statement.

In respect of all notices under the aforementioned legislation:

-no monies owed to the council or invoicing pending in respective of works.
