The number of complaints raised against SBC by department to the ombudsman in the last 2 years please.

The SPSO publish information on their website about all complaints they handle. At the following site you can find information about SBC broken down into the categories the SPSO record against. This isn’t reflective of SBC’s departmental structure but outlines the topics the complaints were about: https://www.spso.org.uk/statistics . Specifically, check the spreadsheet called Complaints Received by Subject and Authority. Scottish Borders Council therefore give notice of section 25 of FOI(S)A 2002 and declare this information is publicly available.
