1197 >= 0.9m span, including ‘bridges’ and ‘culverts’ Some of the information you have requested cannot be provided because Scottish Borders Council does not hold it and therefore we give notice of under 10(4)(a) of EI(S)R 2004. Culvert numbers are included within the 1197 figure above. Our records do not specifically identify those road structures which have the culvert definition as follows: “…a drainage structure passing beneath a highway embankment that has a proportion of the embankment, rather than a bridge deck, between its uppermost point and the road running course…”. 3 full time members of staff. 1 x Senior Structural Engineer (Grade 10); 1 x Engineer (Grade 9), 1 x Assistant Engineer (Grade 8).
