The Council has considered information held in its financial system. We are aware that there are 4 account codes services could have spent against the period in question on consultants.
This information was sent to Service Managers to review and confirm spend on consultants. Whilst this may seem like a straightforward exercise it unfortunately is not.
The Council has several departments:
Education and Lifelong Learning
Corporate Governance
Finance
Infrastructure and Environment
People, Performance and Change
Resilient Communities
Social Work and Practice - IJB
Social Work and Practice - SBC
Strategic Commissioning and Partnerships
Some Service Managers within departments, whilst not in full, have been able to identify spend easily. This is included on the attached spreadsheet. To provide the actual spend for the Council, as a whole, would exceed the cost threshold. Therefore, section 12 of the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 applies.
