Scottish Borders Council is not responsible for the enforcement of speed restrictions. This request would have to be filed with Police Scotland.
2. How many cases of drink driving did you deal with in 2023 and 2024? Following this, which month saw the most cases?
Scottish Borders Council is not responsible for the enforcement of drink driving offences. This request would have to be filed with Police Scotland.

Scottish Borders Council is not responsible for the enforcement of vehicle theft. This request would have to be filed with Police Scotland.
4. What was the top cause of car accidents in 2023 and 2024? Following this, which months saw the most cases?
Scottish Borders Council holds the details of reported personal injury accidents received from Police Scotland. Currently 2024 data is only available up to 31st October 2024.
