Housing support

You have the right to live in safety and to feel secure in your own home.

If you rent your home from a Registered Social Landlord, you may wish to contact them for advice as they can often provide support regarding your housing options.

You also have a right to information and advice from your local council, to find out about your housing options and to stop you from becoming homeless.

Homelessness services can:

  • Give you advice about your housing options and your rights.
  • Provide you with safe secure temporary accommodation
  • Help you to secure alternative permanent accommodation
  • Refer you to specialist support services
  • Help and advise you if you have decided that you want to leave.
