Berwickshire Neighbourhood Support Fund
The Berwickshire Neighbourhood Support Fund 2024/25 is now closed for applications. It will reopen to applications in 2025/26 and information will be available in due course.
The fund provides support and assistance with the development of community-based projects and activities for voluntary and community groups that are active in their local area.
Groups who wish to take forward projects that are of benefit to the local community can apply for grants up to the value of £5k. Funding can be used for a variety of purposes such as:
- Purchase of equipment
- Small capital works
- Hire and running costs
- Maintenance costs
- Capacity building projects
- Some salary costs specific to projects
Projects Awarded
Projects awarded funding through the 2024/25 Berwickshire Neighbourhood Support Fund:
- Friends of Ayton Primary School awarded £5,000 towards the purchase of a trim trail for the play park.
- Coldingham Brave Bayers, awarded £1,493.83 for the Be Bright Be Seen project.
- Eyemouth Museum Trust Ltd, awarded £4,170 for their Museum building fabric report project.
- Gordon Community Sports Field Group awarded £4000 for the club’s roof replacement.
- Allanton Village Hall, awarded £901.56 to help with their village hall refurbishment.
