A number of alterations have been made to domestic waste collections originally scheduled for Monday 19 September when the state funeral for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth ll will take place.
Amended domestic and trade collections - updated 27/09/2022
As a result of the public holiday for the state funeral for her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II earlier this week, a number of waste & recycling collections that were missed on Monday 19 September have been rescheduled.
Please refer to the information below for up to date times and dates for collections that were missed.
Trade waste customers should refer to the ‘Trade Waste Collection update’ section near the bottom of this page.
Remaining collections planned for 24, 26, 27 September
If you were due a collection on Monday 19th September and your waste / recycling has not yet been collected, it will be now be collected on Saturday 24th September.
The only exceptions to this, are households in the following areas which will be collected on the Monday 26th or Tuesday 27th September as detailed below:

UPDATE - Due to driver shortages we are unable to collect the recycling bins rescheduled for collection today (26/9/22) in the Berwickshire area.
We will make every effort to collect the bins later this week. Please leave the bins at the collection point. If we have not returned within 5 working days please can you remove your bin from the collection point and we will collect any extra recycling on the next scheduled collection day. Recycling can be presented in any colour bag with the exception of black bags as these are not recyclable.
