SBC, along with all Scottish local authorities, carried out assessments of school premises in relation to the known issues of Reinforced Autoclave Aeriated Concrete.
Preliminary investigations indicate that this construction method had not been adopted in our school estate. Further investigations have been completed and confirm that there is no evidence of RAAC being used in our school estate of 70 buildings.
