Public information session on proposed active travel network for Peebles

Published: 23rd May 2024

An open public information session focussing on the proposed active travel routes through Peebles and alongside the River Tweed is to be held next Tuesday 28th May.

Details of the session

Members of the public are encouraged to come along to hear directly from our officers and Tweed Forum staff about the plans to create more routes and learn more about how these form part of the new long-distance source to sea River Tweed Trail spanning from Moffat to Berwick-upon-Tweed.

The session is to be held at Go Tweed Valley building on Peebles High Street from 2-7pm on Tuesday 28th May.

The aim of the session will be to gain feedback from local residents and any interested parties on the proposed options North and South of the river.

An online consultation will be available from Tuesday 28 May on SBC’s Citizen Space page for members of the public who are unable to attend the information session next week.
