Use this form to request a refund for an overpayment of Council Tax or Non Domestic Rates.
Important Information
Before you start to complete this application, please ensure you have the following required information and documentation, and the ability to upload these documents as a scan or photograph.
The maximum file size of the total documents submitted with your application needs to be less than 25MB.
Council Tax
- Proof of your bank account (This must show account holders name, account number and sort code)
- If you are no longer liable for Council Tax within the Scottish Borders we will also require proof of your current address (Bank statement, utility bill)
Non Domestic Rates
- Proof of a dedicated business bank account - (Bank statement dated within the last three months confirming branch details, account name, account number and sort code)
- Evidence of correspondance address (Business details on headed paper, utility bill)
This form will time out after 20 minutes inactivity.
