Use this form to apply for District Heating relief.
Before you start to complete this form you will need your Business Rates account number or your Property Reference Number.
Relief available
50% relief on your non-domestic rates is available to premises wholly or mainly being used for a district heating network.
90% relief is available to premises wholly or mainly being used for a district heating network, introduced on or after 1 April 2021, that are powered by renewables.
From 1/4/24, 90% relief is available for a district heating network on any day in the financial year provided at least 80% of the thermal energy generated by that network in that particular financial year derives from renewable generation.
This form will time out after 20 minutes of inactivity.
