Self help sandbag stores are located in flood risk areas around the Borders. These sandbags are for emergency use only and should not be relied upon routinely as flood protection.
The majority of the stores are located at fire stations and are open to the public but a small number are community based. Some are self help and some are operated by community self help groups.
