How do I get a Council allotment or submit an enquiry?
Contact us online or phone us on 0300 100 1800 and you will then be placed on a waiting list. Every year you will need to re-register your interest in being offered an allotment. You must let us know if you wish to remain on the waiting list.
How much does an allotment cost?
Allotments cost £52 per year. This is subject to annual review.
Concessions based on a 50% discount are available to people in receipt of:
- Universal Credit
- Working Tax Credit
- Income-based Employment and Support Allowance
- Income-based Jobseeker's Allowance
- Income Support
- Housing Benefit
- Pension Credit
Can I get more than one allotment plot?
Because of the high demand for allotment plots, these are restricted to one per household.
What facilities are there on site?
Allotment sites are serviced with water, fencing and access pathways.
Allotment Regulations
All allotment tenants on Council-managed sites are required to abide by the Allotment Regulations.
