LAG Funding Programme 2024-25
The LAG launched two funding streams in July 2024, one for Community organisations and the other for Businesses.
Due to demand the Community fund has now closed for new Expressions of Interest/Applications in 2024/25. It is anticipated there will be another grant scheme launched next year (summer 2025).
The LAG is still considering the many applications received and details of those funded will be published soon.
The Growing the Local Economy is still open.
The fund is looking for projects that meet the following:
- Private Businesses (including Farmers), Social Enterprises, and enterprising communities.
- Funding for equipment or building improvements.
- Up to £5,000 (larger amounts up to £20,000 will be considered for exceptional ideas).
- Projects must contribute to net-zero, improve services for the public, or tackle poverty. Examples include renewable energy projects (solar panels and/or batteries), projects supporting greater services/access for people with disabilities, or projects leading to more staff or more hours for staff.
