Domestic abuse recovery programme

Children Experiencing Domestic Abuse Recovery (CEDAR) is an innovative project for children and young people who may be experiencing difficulties as a consequence of domestic abuse.

It provides a therapeutic 12-week group work programme for children aged from 4-16 years old, alongside a group work programme for affected mothers.

Make a referral

Referrals to CEDAR should now be made through Children First.

To safely take part in the programme, mothers and their children should be out of the domestic abuse situation for over a year and the children should not be having contact with the perpetrator of abuse.

For more information, including dates of the next CEDAR programme and a referral form, please email: ettrick@children1st.org.uk or call 01750 22892.
