Autumn/winter vaccination programme 2023/24 Update 5 – January 2024

All health and social care workers are eligible for a flu vaccination this winter. All frontline health and social care workers are also being offered a Covid-19 booster vaccination.

Due to the high levels of flu and Covid-19 circulating at this time of year, we would strongly encourage you to take up the offer of getting the vaccinations you are eligible for this winter if you haven't done so already.

Vaccination clinic dates

Health and social care staff can drop into any of the following community clinics to receive their winter vaccinations this month:

  • Thursday 18 January – Peebles Burgh Hall
  • Wednesday 24 January – Selkirk Volunteer Hall
  • Thursday 25 January – Eyemouth Day Hospital
  • Friday 26 January – Eyemouth Day Hospital
  • Saturday 27 January – Newcastleton Health Centre
  • Monday 29 January – Hawick Community Hospital
  • Tuesday 30 January – Hawick Community Hospital
  • Tuesday 6 February – Galashiels Volunteer Hall
  • Wednesday 7 February – Galashiels Volunteer Hall

NB: Anyone with suspected Covid-19 infection should not attend vaccination sessions to avoid the risk of spreading the virus to others. If you have felt unwell, please wait until you have recovered before getting your vaccination.
