Adult Social Care staff information

Autumn/winter vaccination programme 2023/24 Update 2 - 20.9.23

Frontline health and social care workers are eligible for a flu vaccination this autumn/winter. They are also being offered a Covid-19 booster vaccination.

Help protect yourself and the people you care for

  • As someone delivering social care or as a carer, you are encouraged to get vaccinated to help protect yourself, your family and the people you care for.
  • In your role, you will be caring for many people in at-risk groups such as older people or those with an underlying health condition.
  • Getting vaccinated will mean you are much less likely to spread infection to them, helping to protect those you are caring for this winter.
  • You can find out more in the national Flu vaccination guidance for social care workers and carers information.
