Autumn/winter vaccination programme 2023/24 Update 3 – November 2023
Frontline health and social care workers are eligible for a flu vaccination this autumn/winter. They are also being offered a Covid-19 booster vaccination.
Help protect yourself and the people you care for
- As someone delivering social care or as a carer, you are encouraged to get vaccinated to help protect yourself, your family and the people you care for.
- In your role, you will be caring for many people in at-risk groups such as older people or those with an underlying health condition.
- Getting vaccinated will mean you are much less likely to spread infection to them, helping to protect those you are caring for this winter.
- You can find out more in the national Flu vaccination guidance for social care workers and carers information.
