Total Mobile - update 27.9.21
Total Mobile is launching this autumn for SB Cares and this update is the first of the regular staff updates we plan to send out as the project progresses.
Total Mobile will give care staff better access to information and support when you are working in the community. Using your new iPhone, Total Mobile will:
- schedule home care visits
- provide you with the right information for each individual client
- allow you to update the system during each visit
This will reduce the time spent on administrative tasks.
Staff from SB Cares and Systems Administration teams are conducting user acceptance testing (UAT) so that we can make sure the system is ready and working before we go live. Testing is currently focused on two modules:
- Total Mobile Optimise, the scheduling solution that allows us to ensure the right people are in the right place at the right time
- Total Mobile CareLink, the client information system which ensures you can access the right information for each person receiving care
We will continue to update you as the testing phases progresses.
The iPhone roll out is on track and this means that you will soon have access to a number of new tools for keeping in touch.
Finally, as we continue on our digital journey, we will support you with training so that you can get used to Total Mobile, allowing you to confidently carry out your duties.
