Total Mobile - Go Live update 19.11.21
We are excited to announce that Total Mobile is now due to launch in the East Home Care Region.
The system will be up and running from 7am on Tuesday 23 November 2021 so you should see your visits populating in the Total Mobile app from Monday morning.
As we have previously advised, you may be asked to go to different clients in the new schedules.
If you have any concerns, please speak to your manager in the first instance who is there to support you.
Actions you need to be aware of
There are a few critical actions for everyone involved:
- Your iPhone should now be fully working and able to log in to the Total Mobile app. Please check this and if there are any problems get in touch with your manager urgently.
- You must familiarise yourself with the guide to completing a visit in Total Mobile. This is covered in a video here and in the Total Mobile – Mobilise Guide.
- You should expect to be visiting different clients and working in different areas. This reflects the new way Total Mobile schedules. These changes will settle down during the first few weeks of use.
- For now you will need to continue to record your mileage manually as you currently do. The mileage tracker in Total Mobile is not being used to generate mileage claims yet but will be brought in imminently.
- Non-contract /relief staff will need to use the Total Mobile app on their device to clock on and off at the start and end of their shifts. See the Total Mobile – Mobilise Clock On/Off – User Guide for more information.
It is always a challenge getting used to a new system and changes to the way that you work. Please be patient with these changes and report any issues to your manager.
