Total Mobile - update 12.10.21
The Total Mobile project is continuing to make good progress, with UAT continuing and app testing using the new iPhone SE devices now commencing. We are anticipating that the UAT should be signed off over the next two weeks, in time to allow training to be delivered to staff.
The training will initially focus on the CareLink, Optimise and Mobilise solutions from Total Mobile.
- CareLink is where referral information is input, and care visit schedules are defined by back-office staff
- Optimise is where visits are allocated to our front-line workforce, and where back-office staff can monitor visits
- Mobilise is the app which will enable our front-line staff to obtain up-to-date information about their upcoming visits, including all relevant client information to make the visits as efficient as possible
Training will be delivered to Assistant Home Care Managers, schedulers, SBC SysAdmin and SB Cares Digital Champions, who can then assist you with any technical difficulties you may encounter. The training is scheduled to take place week commencing 25 October.
Go Live
The Project Team has developed the Total Mobile deployment plan and the East region will be the first SB Cares region to go live with Total Mobile. We will have firmed up dates for the regions over the coming weeks but a phased approach has been decided as the optimum method of deployment. It will allow us to ensure that the new solution is enabling us to deliver the best care, at the best times, and that clients continue to be kept at the heart of what we are doing.
We appreciate that this new method of working may be a significant change, and we do ask that you help support us during this change and we will do everything possible to support you.
We will have a trained, experienced team of staff available to support you during the initial period following go live for any issues you may encounter. The system functionality has been tested thoroughly by our Assistant Home Care Managers with a view to ensure that the system and processes will work for you, our clients and our back-office staff.
Training materials, such as short guides and FAQ’s will be available to you in advance of go live to cover the functionality of the Total Mobile solution.
